with the pampering they deserve. Ladies can spend the
day at the spa while the guys are out on a fishing adventure
of a lifetime or spend the day together in total relaxation.
Schedule an all day Spa treatment for about $150 USD
or a relaxing 1 hour massage for only $30 USD in a very
relaxing atmosphere.

Ocean Fishing
Trips
Mazatlán is world
known for its great deep sea fishing. If you are looking
for Marlin, Sailfish, Swordfish, Dorado, Tuna, Bonita
or just want to bottom-fish, Casa de Leyendas has teamed
up with one of the oldest and most experiences fishing
fleets in Mazatlán. For $275 you can get a 40ft
boat with captain & mate to yourself, rod/reel/tackle
& transportation from Casa de Leyendas to the dock
and return. You can fish up to 6 people. Licenses are
$10 per person. Start fishing at 6am and return by 3pm.

Freshwater Largemouth
Bass Fishing
Ever heard of the the great
Lake El Salto?? Well, if you are a fisherman this is a
must do on your trip to Mazatlán. This lake is
literally filled to the gills with trophy size Largemouth
Bass. You will have the fishing adventure of a lifetime.
In a typical day you will catch over 20 bass with majority
in the 3 to 6 pound class and a good portion up to 10
pounds with a few reaching up to 15 pounds. The lake is
just 60 miles from Mazatlan and you can hire a boat for
two people, guide, rods, reels, tackle, drinks and food
for as little as $450 USD for the entire day. The cost
for a single person is around $300 USD per day.

Mazatlan City
Tour
We have made arrangements
with one of the best tour guides in the area to provide
you with a variety of Mazatlán tours. You will
be escorted in a comfortable tour vehicle and with an
English speaking guide. You can select from 1/2 day to
full day tours and from a beach tour to a tour of the
historic sites. There is a tour that will meet your needs.
Prices for this tour run from $22 to $55 USD per person.

Shopping Tour
We have made arrangements
with one of the best tour guides in the area to provide
you with the quality shopping tour. You will be escorted
in a comfortable tour vehicle and with an English speaking
guide. He will take you to the popular places where everyone
goes to the secret places where the locals go to find
the best deals. Prices for this tour run from $30 to $50
USD per person. |

Day Trip To
Colonial Towns of Copala & Concordia
How about a relaxing
day trip to the Mexican village towns of Copala and Concordia.
You will experience old Mexico at its finest. You will
get to see old Mexico and enjoy a variety of cultural
experiences. You will stop at a brick yard where you will
see how bricks have been made by hand for many years.
You will then stop in a little town called Malpica in
the Sierra Madre Mountains, where you will see Mexican
tiles being made from a press that is over 100 years old
and enjoy pastries made in the old fashion way in an oven
of brick and mud. You will then visit a colonial style
furniture factory and a place where pottery and clay roofing
tiles are made. Then on to Concordia that was founded
in 1565, where you will see the old church, the city hall
and the main plaza. Then you will go to the old mining
town of Copala that was also founded in 1565 (shown below),
where you will experience the old cobblestone streets
and colonial buildings. The church was built in the 1700's.
It is a wonderful place to visit and see old Mexico at
it's finest. The tour ends in Mazatlan, where your guide
will show you the great sites of Mazatlan. This 8 hour
tour cost $60 USD per adult and includes lunch. |

Sail Boat Cruises
We have made arrangements
with some good friends of ours that provide one of the
best water trips in Mazatlán on their awesome 40
foot sail boat. Enjoy good food, beverages and hosts while
you take in the wonderful Mazatlán sunset or try
a day trip around the islands and stop for a swim/lunch
at Deer Island. The trips are 4 hours and are priced at
$250 for 2-people, $300 for 4-people and $350 for 6 people.
We can also arrange special trips & sailing lessons.
If you don't mind being with a larger group, we have arrangements
with the owner of a 82 ft sail boat where sunset cruises
can be booked as low as $50 USD per person. |

Ocean Boating
Trips
We have made arrangements
with a local provider for a boating tour of the Mazatlán
area at a cost of $150 USD for the entire 40 foot boat
for a 4 hour trip. Go by yourselves or take up to 10 people
- the price is the same. The price includes transportation
to and from Casa De Leyendas. Your tour will take you
past the 3 islands that are visible from the beaches of
Mazatlán - Goat Island, Bird Island and Deer Island.
You can do it during the day, or for you romantics, right
at sunset. |

Stone Island
Day Trip
We have made arrangements
with a local provider to ensure you have a great trip
and stay at one of the "locals" hot spots -
Stone Island. You can spend your day sipping "Coco-Locos",
sunbathing on the beach, trying water rides, riding horses
or playing a little volleyball.
Package 1 - transportation, catamaran
boat ride (catamaran is double deck and carries about
350 people), open bar (national drinks or beer) on the
island and lunch. Takes about 3 1/2 hours and is $25
USD
Package 2 - same as above, but includes
2 activities ...choice of snorkeling, kayak, horse back
ride, boogie boards or banana boat ride. 3 1/2 hours
and $35 USD |

Yoga
Mazatlan is fortunate to
have one of the premier Yoga instructors from the U.S.
- Maureen Geraghty. She has a variety of daily courses
located either in or near Casa de Leyendas from beginners
to advanced practioners. She also has frequent retreats
and Saturday retreats to Stone Island as well. If you
haven't ever tried Yoga and thought you might, this is
the instructor for you. |

Art Classes
Want to learn from one of the best? Glen
Rogers is an internationally exhibited artist whose work
has been shown in the U.S., England, France, Belgium,
Germany, Japan, Mexico, and Singapore. As a full-time
artist, she splits her time between painting, printmaking,
drawing and public sculpture. Permanent collections include
San Jose Museum of Art, the Triton Museum, AMD, Adobe,
Frans Masareel Print Center, KALA Institute, and many
private collections. Her work is featured in The Best
of Printmaking, an International Collection.

Golfing
Mazatlán also has
golfing for those that want to try golfing along the Pacific
Ocean. Not quite Pebble Beach, but close. This Robert
Trent Jones Jr. 18-hole Championship golf course is rated
amongst the highest in all of Mexico. You'll find the
course earned a five out of five star rating on most online
reviews and in numerous publications. If you play golf
or would like to learn, there is simply no comparable
resort in the Mazatlan area. Green fees from $45 depending
on time of year and day of week. |

Horseback
Riding
Like to ride horses, while
at the same time seeing the Mexican countryside and villages.
We have made arrangements with a local provider that provides
an excellent ride - a 3 hour ride complete with lunch,
water, soda and beer for only $45 USD per person. If you
would rather ride on a nice sandy beach and through a
coconut plantation, we can arrange that trip for $25 USD
per hour. |

Dove and Duck
Hunting
Like to Dove and Duck hunt?
Well, you will find some of the best hunting in Mexico
not to far from Mazatlán. We have made arrangements
with one of the top area guides to provide you a hunt
you will never forget. Season runs from November 1st to
March 7th.
Rates vary depending on the type of hunt, number of
hunters, use of guns, items you want included, etc.
Call for specific pricing. The cost for these trips
run anywhere for $175 USD for Dove and $350 USD for
Duck hunting.
